CONVERGENCE IV: WORKFORCE & EDUCATION SUMMIT

Through an interactive and engaging program, the final CONVERGENCE program of 2009 will provide participants the opportunity to weigh in on the Capital Region’s strategies to align education to meet the needs of the 21^st Century economy. The program will:

· Showcase examples of regional leadership and innovation in education

· Profile objectives that will enhance the Sacramento region’s educational strategies to meet regional workforce needs and economic objectives

· Advance discussion of regional educational objectives

· Stimulate collaboration and action to support future regional educational strategies and initiatives
